IS2006187225 – Árvakur frá Hoftúni
Meaning of name: There are various meanings: Somebody that is full of attention, and somebody that is an early riser. It is also a millennium old myth, about a mythological stallion who pulls the sun over the sky.
Age: 4 (born 2006)
Color: Chestunut pinto (fux-skäck/rauð-skjótt/röd-broget).
An exellent pedigree (with Kolfinnur from Kjarnholtum, Hrafn from Holtsmúla, and Gáski from Hofsstöðum in the pedigree), a 1. prize prospect, a good stallion prospect, and a very popular color. Was raised at a boarding farm where he spent his time with a group of stallions all year round in a huge pasture, so he got excellent exercise and developed his muscles perfectly. Is being started under saddle, has had all basic handling. Unfortunately we didn’t have much time this winter to train him much, next winter we’ll train him a lot and have him evaluated in the spring. Has excellent footlift and lots of aura.

Often it is a bit sensitive matter, to sell a stallion. There are thus some stallions that I know of for sale, but the owners do not want to advertice them out in public.
