I was at one of our neighbouring towns, Siglufjordur, that day 🙂 You have mountains there, a small slip of land, and then the ocean – which is what gives the people in Siglufjordur their living 🙂 The snow avalance stoppers in the mountains keep the town safe.  You see this on the first picture.  The other pictures are taken on the way back home  again.  The heather and small bushes were in fall colors.
