When coming to us for your horseback ride in Iceland, you might want to spend the night somewhere close to us.

5 – 7 min. drive from Langhus:

Sóti lodge offers stylish half-board accommodation in six double bedrooms and one triple. All rooms are fitted with a private bathroom, and the cozy dining room and lounge offer stunning views towards the mountain ranges of the Troll Peninsula. Guests are served breakfast and dinner (included in the price of lodging), with an optional packed lunch available for a small fee. A breakfast buffet provides the necessary energy for a day of adventure in the Troll Peninsula, while a full service, three course dinner wraps up the day perfectly. Access to the geothermal swimming pool next door is included in the price.  You can also charge electrical cars at Sóti lodge.

Gimbur guesthouse , is a very beautiful and comfortable guesthouse in a very scenic place, meals available, beautiful accommodation.  Has a wonderful upper floor with big windows, perfect for enjoying the northern lights in the comfort of a warm house.  The Gimbur guesthouse also has a very warm outdoor hot tub, where it’s very enjoyable to watch the northern lights sprinkle over the sky, with a sky absolutely full of stars.  The guesthouse offers an unique chance for enjoying the northern lights at their best, in comfort.  Open all year round.

Brúnastaðir and Lambanes-Reykir .  2 houses available, each has beds for 10 people, so it´s a great choice for groups, as one rents the whole house, not just one room.  Both of the houses have a hot spring water geothermal hot tub – their Facebook site is at Ferðaþjónustan Brúnastöðum .  In the summer time (June 20.-September 1.) access to the farm animal petting zoo at Brúnastaðir and using kayaks on the wonderfully beautiful Miklavatn lake is included.  For the Northern light enthusiasts, it’s perfect to lie in the cozy hot tub and gaze at the lights in the sky.

30 min. drive from Langhus:

Sunnuberg guesthouse at Hofsós village – west from us.  A very cosy budget guesthouse, super location, next door to Hofsós swimming pool – west from us.

The Herring House at Siglufjörður town – east from us.  The Herring House is a cozy residence for tourists and travelers around Iceland. They offer you a place to stay in the northernmost town of Iceland, Sigluförður, where the people are friendly and welcoming to newcomers. The Herring House stands on a big yard where you can wash your day off in our hot tub and outdoor shower and enjoy the fresh Icelandic mountain air. They are only few minutes walk from the town´s center and main attractions. They look forward to hosting you and give you the best experience they can offer.

Sigló hotel  – at Siglufjörður town – east from us.  A very luxurious hotel.  Built into the fisherman’s marina all rooms at Siglo Hotel have a wonderful views of the beautiful surrounding mountains and peaceful environment of Siglufjörður.

Kolkuós guesthouse – on the countryside west from us – Great nature, old house beautifully and perfectly restored, awesome view by the sea, very peaceful surroundings, a high quality accommodation.  The location has a remote feeling by the sea, but is close enough to the main road so it’s a practical place too.

Dalasetur (Helgustaðir) – on the countryside – west from us.  A beautiful retreat in a tranquil valley, with cottages/small guesthouses, hot tubs, frisbee-golf, yoga, massage and more.

45 min. drive from Langhus:

Brimnes hotels and cabins – at Ólafsfjörður town – east from us.   Brimnes Hotel & Cabins offers eight Finnish bungalows in three sizes which are located by Lake Ólafsfjarðarvatn. Every bungalow has a jacuzzi and a kitchen (or kitchenette) and they can host from one up to seven people.

Arctic hotels – at Sauðárkrókur town – west from us.  Arctic hotels offer three different little hotels, from the very cosy and simple Mikligarður hotel up to the glorious Tindastóll hotel.
