We have just 14 ewes (and one ram), and our sheep are more our companions than husbandry animals. They are though fine, have good bodies and for fun we love having the colors. And, now we have all the colors of the Icelandic sheep in our little herd (grey, black, chocolate-brown, white, goltott (dark belly legs and face), botnott (light belly), dropott (polka-dots), and spotted/pinto) and all sorts of mixes of these colors. The sheep in our herd usually have 2 lambs, and now there area 25 little lambs enjoying their life by our sheep barn. The run and jump and life is just good.
